 NEW in 2011:

  • JR Tier 1 team Weekend Team will be formed based on Grading results as part of the tryouts on Mach 12th.
  • Pre-Season training is available free of charge to all JR's - see below for details

    Training schedule is as follows:


    Cage Sessions:
    Beginning
    Wed, Feb. 9th, 2011
    running till the start of season

    7 - 8pm - 13 yr-old JRs
    8 - 9 pm - 14 yr-old JRs and 15 yr-old SRs



    Fielding Sessions:
    Beginning
    Mon, Feb. 28th, 2011
    weather permitting & running till the start of season
    6 - 7pm - 13 yr-old JRs
    7 - 8 pm - 14 yr-old JRs and 15 yr-old SRs




    All Training to be held at Walnut Grove Park
    in the Cage or on the All-Weather Field

    The above schedule may be modified as needed to accommodate pitching & catching sessions
    which would include a mix of all ages attending together but alternating in shifts.


     

LOCATION:

  • Walnut Grove Park - Junior/Senior Diamond ... SEE MAPS TO ALL PARKS
  • Interlock potential with Langley City, Coquitlam, Whalley

 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Min of 12 players & Max of 15 players per team
  • All players will be evaluated at grading in February to determine their skill level
  • All teams will be drafted evenly to provide for a fair playing environment
  • Teams will play in house games as well as interlock with different communities within our District (Langley City, White Rock, Coquitlam, Whalley)
  • Jersey, cap, pants, belt and socks are supplied
  • You must have your own helmet, glove and sports cup (mandatory)
  • Skills Grading occurs in February - schedule to come

 

 POST SEASON:

  • NL Baseball typically forms a Tier 2 leveled All Star team that participates in the Karl Goslin tournament in Coquitlam

  • In 2011, Langley City and North Langley may combine All Star teams to form a Provincial Team and a Tier 2 team.
