 BOUNDARY RESTRICTIONS:


In order to participate in NL Baseball,
you MUST reside within the boundaries

The South Boundary has been extended
down to 80th Ave in Willoughby between 196th & the #1 Freeway.



The boundary roads established by our Little League Charter are:

West:  196th Street
East:   284th St (Bradner Road)       
North:  Fraser River
South:  80th Ave @ 196th east to Hwy #1

 CHANGES in 2012

  • 4 Year Olds - Blastball has been renamed to TBall!
    • Not to fear - the Squeaky Base will still be the highlight!
    • TBall format instead of Blastball (so full bases instead of only 1st base to start)
    • Leading into coach pitch or machine pitch at the end of the season for those players that are ready for the next step
    • Parent participation on the field is mandatory for this age group to ensure all players have success
    • 2 games per week (mon/wed or tues/thurs)
  • 5 &  6 Year Olds - Super T division
    • Players start out hitting off the machine
    • Tee's will still be used as needed
    • 2 games per week (wed/sat or thurs/sat)
  • 7 & 8 Year Olds
    • 7 year olds and 8 year olds will play in the same division in 2012
    • the entire season will be machine pitch
    • 2 games per week on varying days including weekends.
    • 1-2 practices per week
  • 9 - 12 Year Olds
    • Divisions within this age bracket are being evaluated by the District & will be configured to a District formula in January.
    • District 3 will attempt to configure these ages with the same formula to improve interleague play with Langley City
    • Those players making the Majors team will play up to 24 games & will have a major fee added to their registration once drafted to the team.

                         Bats approved for 8s, 9/10s & 11/12s
                         Bats approved for Juniors

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:  North Langley Baseball does not want any child to miss participating in our programs for financial reasons.
There are ways of removing this barrier. If a child requires financial assistance please register and apply for funding at Kidsport or Let Kids Play.

  • UNIFORM DEPOSIT:  Post dated deposit cheque of $100 will be collected at the start of the season

  • WITHDRAWAL FEE:  A $25 administration fee will be charged for withdrawals prior to the first game of the season.  Withdrawals after the first game are non-refundable

  • NSF FEE:  NSF administration fee is $25

  • There will be one in-person registration

Walnut Grove Community Center (in the foyer)

  • What to bring?
    • A Cheque payable to NLDS, dated at the time of registration
    • only ONE check is needed for ALL Baseball registrations being registered
    • Proof of birthdate will be verified by the league during the February Player Evaluations

 

MVP Athletics in Walnut Grove will take paper registration beginning Jan 1st, 2012.
Online Registration continues to be the best way to ensure player's info is correct.
